THE EMBASSY OF THE KINGDOM OF THE NETHERLANDS SELECTS ADP ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR AS THE ONLY GREEK CYPRIOT TO PARTICIPATE IN COUNTRY VISIT
Het Nieuwe Instituut (the Dutch Institute for Architecture, Design and Digital Culture) in Rotterdam, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Nicosia, is organizing for the second time a regional visitors program in the field of architecture. The programme will take place from 19 until 21 June in The Netherlands.
Aim of the programme is to familiarize architects from abroad with current developments in Dutch architecture, and to stimulate international networks and exchanges.
ADP Associate Director, Andreas Papallas has been selected to participate in a 3-day programme that will include site-visits, exhibitions, and meetings with Dutch architects and bureaus. The visit will focus on several topics, including sustainable urban design and the energy transition, maintaining and (re-)using cultural heritage in the city, regenerating urban neighbourhoods, and activating public spaces.
After the visit Andreas wrote a report that was published by the Het Nieuwe Instituut here.
